Attendance Policy at Tharwah Academy
This attendance policy applies equally to online and in-person learners to ensure a consistent approach to educational commitment across all mediums. Learners are required to attend sessions, whether synchronous online or in-person, according to the schedules provided on the platform calendar and as notified on their devices. The platform is equipped with the necessary technical tools to facilitate learners' participation in virtual sessions, along with other attendance requirements.
A learner is considered present if they attend 75% or more of the allotted time for the session. It is important to note that certain sessions may have specific attendance requirements, which may include, but are not limited to, active participation, responding to interactive questions, and completing quizzes or exams. Failure to meet these specific requirements will result in the learner being marked as absent.
In cases where a learner’s absence is due to an acceptable excuse, such as illness, an accident, or the death of a relative, the learner must submit evidence to the Training Department via the designated email address. These documents are required to verify the reason for the absence and to consider any potential accommodations.
Termination of Access
Tharwah Academy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate, restrict, or block access to the platform without prior notice for any reason deemed appropriate, including non-compliance with the terms of use or any behavior that is considered, at our discretion, illegal or harmful to others. In the event of such termination, the individual will not have authorization to access the platform.
This policy is designed to maintain a respectful, lawful, and secure educational environment for all participants, ensuring the safety and quality of the educational experience provided by Tharwah Academy.
